Outreach and Activities
The G.I's organize fasting and prayer retreat across China, US and Ghana; members are trained and equipped through teachings and prayers. We recently engaged in 21 days of fasting and prayer with some G.I. members for the empowermenty of the Holy Spirit to be effective soul winners for God, in accordance with The book of Acts.
The G.I’s have launched a campus evangelisism ministry across several Universities in China (Shanghai), America and Ghana, with the student population being our primary outreach target.
Many Christian students across the world easily backslide when they go to college. The founder of General Intercessors Pastor Bernard Awuah-Peasah witnessed Christian students backsliding every day whilst attending Shanghai University as an international student. It is the G.Is mission to turn these campuses into a harvest field, intercepting these lost and backslidden local and foreign students back to the Lord.
Most campuses are filled with various types of immoralities to the lowest standard such as alcoholism, occultism, gangs, fornication, adultery, sodomy, smoking etc.
The G.Is will be working hand in hand with Churches in starting Bible study and prayer fellowships ( cell groups ) on the campuses in order to feed and equip students in their daily walk with The Lord.
With the special help of God, we have recently launched our evangelical outreach program “win the lost at all cost” by sharing Bibles and Christian tracks. For now, The GI.s have been able to distribute more than 100 Chinese and English Bibles and other Christian materials to taxi drivers, road venders, bankers, shop owners, passengers on subway and buses, foreign and Chinese colleagues, neighbours etc. We firmly believe that God will continue to empower us and use to spread the Gospel and do His will.
